Joy, I have no idea what I’m supposed to write for a bio.  I tend to be wordy, so I’ll stick to summaries.

Name:  Lita Go, now Lita Tjandra

Husband’s name:  Vincent

Children: none

Address:  Surabaya, Indonesia

Work:  Run a small chocolate and jam factory

Hobbies:  Crocheting, gardening

Pets:  Dog and (Vincent’s) 30 singing birds

History:  (reflects how ancient I am)

  1969-1971: attended Singapore American School

  1971-1975: attended Wellesley College, Mass, majoring in Chemistry

  1975-1978: lived in Singapore – didn’t work

  1978-1979: did a Master of Applied Science in Food Technology at the                    University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

  1980-1983: returned to Singapore

  1983-1988: worked in a flavor company in Singapore

  1988-present: returned to my birthplace, Surabaya, Indonesia, working                          in the family business.  Met my husband here.

The yellow dog is my darling Flip: we found him last year wandering in our street, and trespassing into our garden. Turns out he is/was my neighbor's dog!  We didn't give him back because they didn't react when I called to say he was ill and that I had brought him to the vet.  He is still a sickly dog probably because he didn't get proper nourishment from 0-6 months.
