December 2008:
After I left KL, I went to Vancouver and Lewis and Clark College. Here I received my draft notice. So, instead of going Army I joined the Air Force.
I went Para-Rescue. First base Hill AFB (training) 2nd  Sheppard AFB (TX) next Homestead AFB (FLA) then Nakom Phenom in eastern Thailand. From here we flew over Laos, Cambodia and N. Vietnam picking (rescuing) downed pilots, Search and Destroy teams and others (CIA, etc..) Most were shot up or injured in some way.
My parents moved to Singapore 1971 and I was able to visit them a couple times and meet my wife. After VN I came to Albuquerque (Kirtland AFB) and left the service in 1977. I worked on British cars for a few years in my garage while going to UNM. After a degree in Biology, I tried to get into Med school. Affirmative Action (yes it was still going) did not let a lot of us (white male) into school. So, I opened a Repair and Restoration shop for British cars.
Now the economy is bad and my business is doing poorly, I decided to change careers and  start Nursing school in January.
That's it in a nutshell so far.
